Sports Legends with Bevo – Ep #14 – Anthony ‘Kouta’ Koutoufides – Winning a flag in his early 20’s.

Anthony ‘Kouta’ Koutoufides is certainly one of the greats of the AFL and he has a resume to prove that.

Considered by many as one of the most powerful and athletic players of all-time, he played in almost every position and was often called the prototype of the modern footballer.

An inductee into the AFL Hall of Fame in 2014, Kouta played 278 games at his beloved Carlton Blues, represented Victoria in state footy and was a premiership player in 1995 with Carlton and that’s just the start of it.

He is now a regular at sportsman’s events around Australia and has his own business called Koutafit

We reminisced over Kouta’s stellar career as he shared some great stories about winning his first AFL premiership in his early 20’s and the crazy celebrations that went with it, some of his funniest team-mates, toughest opponents and what it was like to present the Big V in State of Origin footy plus much more.
