
Sports Legends with Bevo – Ep #10 – Rick Olarenshaw – Growing Aussie Rules in Bali
Rick Olarenshaw made his senior debut for the Essendon Football Club in 1993 and what a year it turned out to be with the ‘Baby Bombers’ going on to win the flag that year which was Rick’s only AFL premiership.
He suffered several injuries after this and ended up playing 77 games at the Bombers, 5 at Collingwood and 1 at the Roos before retiring in 2001.
Post career he was involved as a Boundary Rider at Channel Seven before moving to Bali where he has now lived for over 10 years and has since been married and has a couple of young kids.
