Comedy Legends with Bevo – Ep #6 – Chris Franklin and Lars Callieou – A couple of comedy veterans!

Aussie Chris Franklin and Canadian Lars Callieou have been good mates for a long time and are both seasoned performers having been on the comedy scene for many years.

Both lads have performed at some of the biggest comedy festivals around the world and Callieou has even performed with the likes of the late Joan Rivers and Bob Saget.

Franklin is most well known for the parady song ‘Bloke’ released in 2000 which was a piss take of Meredith Brook’s song Bitch.

The lyrics were changed to reflect the stereotypical Australian male lifestyle and the song even received a couple of Aria nominations.

Franklin also produced another parody song called Stay the F..k At Home with a host of Australian musicians in 2020.

We found out more about how the boys met and what makes their friendship so strong, the story behind Bitch and Stay the F… at Home and both men shared how their comedy journeys began.
