Comedy Legends with Bevo – Ep #2 – Simon Taylor – Writing for Jay Leno!
Simon Taylor is a Melbourne-born comedian who is doing terrific things on the comedy circuit. At the age of 24, Simon had the amazing gig of being a writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in Los Angeles.
He has also been a writer for Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell on the ABC and Magic for Humans on Netflix.
Simon has featured on shows such as Comedy Up Late and Just for Laughs and has even recently written a novel called ‘One-Night Stand’.
It was great to catch up with Simon when he was in Adelaide for the Fringe earlier this year where I found out more about the idea behind his new book, his new show ‘Epic’, how he handles hecklers and Simon took us back to his very first gig as a stand-up comedian.
Legends with Bevo Podcast as seen on Channel Seven’s Sunrise, Ticker TV and Channel 44 Adelaide. Heard on Triple M Mackay and the Whitsundays, Radio Italia Uno, Flow FM Australia and Radio Today’s Podcast. Featured in the Sunday Mail and the Mount Barker Courier.
