Comedy Legends with Bevo – Ep #14 – Jarryd Goundrey – The tough times of being a comedian on the road.
Comedian Jarryd Goundrey is taking Australia and the world by storm with his entertaining stand-up comedy shows captivating audiences.
After serving in the Australian Army for seven years as an Infantry soldier he left to work in a restaurant as a chef.
Jarryd then decided being a chef wasn’t for him so he has put everything on the line as he chases the dream as a comedian.
His show Incoming sold out its run at the 2022 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and he has supported some big name comedians already in his short career including Jimeoin, Dave Hughes, Kitty Flanagan, Joel Creasy, Tom Ballard, Dave O’Neil, Damian Power and many more.
On my recent chat with Jarryd on Comedy Legends with Bevo we discussed the challenges of trying to earn a living as a comedian, what it’s like sharing a room with 8 dudes at a backpackers and how he ended up as a Lord.
