Marc Ryan also known as the comedian ‘Beautiful Bogan’ has been a comedian for 12 years but the past four years he has dedicated his discussion around mental health after going through some tough times as a child.
When the stats say that we are losing seven men and two women to suicide everyday it shows we have a real problem and Marc wants to build awareness about mental health through is comedy and real-life stories.
Marc has been through a marriage breakdown after 20 years of marriage, so he has had to navigate that with three teenage boys.
On my recent chat with Marc on Comedy Legends with Bevo we discussed how he has overcome these challenges in life, why comedy is so important to him in regards to spreading the word about mental health awareness and what his show ‘Not Here to F..k Spiders’ is all about.
